European Entrepreneurship Competence Framework: options for putting it into action discussed by Turkmen teachers

   Within the period of December 10-13, 2018, а Workshop for familiarization with the European Entrepreneurship Competence Framework (EntreComp) was organized by EU funded project “Support to Education Sector in Turkmenistan”, in partnership with the National Institute of Education of Turkmenistan. 25 experienced teachers of general subjects (Mother tongue, Foreign Languages, Mathematics, ICT, History, Biology, Geography), guided by Senior Expert Liliana Nicolaescu-Onofrei, examined the components of the entrepreneurship competence, as envisioned within EntreComp, and proposed pathways for action, in order to incorporate the development of entrepreneurship competence and spirit of initiative of students into the school curricula, textbooks and teaching process. Participants underlined the importance of supporting students to identify opportunities for creating social, cultural or material value for other people, to become creative, to build their vision of the future, to mobilize resources, to plan and to implement projects, to work in teams and to learn from experience, in order to achieve personal, social and professional success.
